A Little About Me!

I am a mother and a grandmother of one sweet little peanut!  I have been in the child care business for over 24 years and have loved every single minute of it.  I am a certified Preschool Teacher and I have a degree in Early ChildHood Education, A Bachelor of Science in Education, and in Communications and English.  I chose to stay home with my children and offer to other families the same love, care and nurturing that I would give my own family.

My Program

My Preschool Program and Curriculum meets all components set forth by the Arizona Department of Education which defines a high quality Early Childhood Education Program.

My Commitment To You

I will continue to provide a secure, loving and nurturing environment by providing DEPENDALBLE, High Quality/Low Ratio childcare combined with a balanced Preschool program where children can play and learn.  I want to provide the best possible educational advantage for children who are in my care that will be transitioning from my preschool program into the school system for Kindergarten. I will give your child the skills that are needed to help them become successful students with a love for learning.

My Philosphy

Parents need a place they can trust, they need to know that their children are safe and nurtured through out the day as an extension of family, as a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule, I encourage imaginative and creative play. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem, relationship building and open communication is also a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other and adults. This is the perfect place for growing, learning and playing!

I care for them each day.

I cuddle, sing and read to them

and watch them as they play.

I see each new accomplishment

I watch them grow and learn,

I understand their language,

and I listen with concern.

They come to me for comfort,

and I kiss away their tears.

They proudly show their work to me,

I give the loudest cheers.

No, I 'm not their mother,

but my role is just as strong.

I nurture them and keep them safe,

though maybe not for long.

I know someday the time may come,

when we will have to part,

but I know each child I've cared for

is forever in my heart!

Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the Lord my soul to keep

may angels watch me through the night

and wake me in the morning light.  Amen
